Ruggable has just reaffirmed our statement that 2026 is the year of calm. Releasing not one but three new collections, they’re trying to prioritise alignment and quietly resetting.
“The start of a new year has long been associated with reinvention, ambitious plans, and the pressure to start again. But for 2026, that mindset is shifting. Rather than craving transformation, many are looking for something more authentic, nostalgic and supportive of real life,” says Maria O’Brien, Vice President of Design at Ruggable.
Focussing on earthy, natural and nostalgic aesthetics, the living room, bedroom & kitchen collections are now available to shop online.
About The Living Room Collection

Recommended for the living room, Kindred Cottage is the product of nostalgia, bringing you the charm of the countryside. As seen with grandma-chic, there’s a push for design that feels authentic. “Living rooms are becoming softer and more layered, with touches of nostalgic cottagecore and modern farmhouse influences set to become even more popular in 2026,” Maria predicts.
To style the collection she suggests gradually introducing “nostalgic details”, “incorporating subtle accents like scalloped edges, pleated lampshades, and unlacquered brass.”
“These small, romantic touches add a lived-in soul to the cleaner lines of modern furniture. Then ground the softness with reclaimed wood and organic stone by choosing a coffee table with visible grain or rough edges to really bring styles from the new Kindred Cottage collection to life.”
About The Bedroom Collection

“Bedrooms are increasingly becoming places of genuine rest and retreat that shelter the spirit whilst fuelling your dreams. Muted neutral tones and gentle soft patterns create a visual representation of stillness, focusing on a calmer bedroom for better sleep, and slower mornings,” says Maria.
Best in the bedroom, Serene Neutrals is abstract minimalism with warm yet subtle pinks, beiges and teals. The idea of the collection is visual interest without distraction.
To style the collection, Maria advises using “gentle” patterns and playing with texture to avoid overwhelm in your bedroom design. “Think subtle seersucker bedding, blankets with faint herringbone weaves, and delicate patterns on soft rugs that enhance the room’s sense of quiet.”
About The Kitchen Collection

Eclectic Boho is a warm, rustic and vintage-inspired look for every nomad (even the short-term renter). Maria recommends this collection for a calmer kitchen; the place we most associate with chaos in the home.
“Kitchens are moving away from pristine, showroom-style finishes this year, becoming more expressive and personal. Rather than redesigning entire spaces, people are adding character through thoughtful details that make the room feel lived-in,” she says.
“Organic patterns, subtle vintage details and a bohemian flair reflect a move away from the cool greys and stark whites that have previously given the space a more polished feel and industrial finish. By swapping modern handles for aged brass hardware, hanging copper pots on display, or adding a standalone ‘unfitted’ piece like a vintage butcher’s block or open wooden shelving will give the space a curated, collected-over-time aesthetic.”
Top Picks For A Tight Budget

“These new collections from Ruggable reflect how different rooms in the home are being used in everyday life—living rooms that feel welcoming, bedrooms that prioritise rest, and kitchens that feel lived in and personal,” Maria says. “Ruggable’s washable rugs make it easier to embrace softer colours, richer textures and character-led designs as part of a gentle reset, without worrying about everyday mess or spills.”
Tallitha is our favourite from the Kindred cottage collection; a product captures that feeling of snuggling under a blanket reading a book. The mix of greens gives it an earthy feel and the nostalgia that brings us peace. The 90 x 150 cm rug would work perfectly in a reading nook.
The Serene Neutrals collection boasts canvas-like styles, but the Vale Rug looks almost like watercolour. It doesn’t demand attention and still saves the bedroom from blandness. We love the Vale sage & tan runner rug at just £159.00.
We’d be bold enough to say that despite the expert advice, Saguaro Trail will work not only in the kitchen but as a runner for a long corridor. With similar foot traffic in both spaces and similar levels of chaos and cleanup, it’s not a bad shout. We love their 75 x 365 runner at £259.00.
