The clocks have gone forward and so will our stories. While March has been about nostalgic design and bringing calm to your space, April brings more focus on the great outdoors.

One thing that the months share is a love of florals. While March was pro-flower power, April is about traditional florals.

Welcoming spring, we’ll be getting expert advice on how to host a great picnic, glamping when you want it to feel like home, and we’ll having a special guest on the Tweed Talks Podcast to celebrate National Tea Day in the UK.

We’re also currently doing some work on the site that should make navigation much easier for those of you who want specifics on home design. Instead of current sections which are traditional magazine categories (features, news, opinion, advice, shopping, ask Chey), we will categorise articles by room (lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, garden, spare room). This not only makes what you’re looking for much easier to find but the spare room section will contain niche rooms (laundry room, mudroom, home gym, home office, reading room etc.) to give you inspiration on how to use space wisely.

Our goal is to democratise good design and making it more easily searchable helps us to achieve that goal and, most importantly, helps you to enjoy what we do here even more.

Have a good month and, if you’re anything like me, don’t forget to take your antihistamines!

– Cheyenne
