Graham & Brown are the next brand to show us their take on 70s revival. True to their British heritage roots, the interiors brand is going full flower power with a range of botanical and paisley repeat patterns that bring life to any space.

Iona Graham, Brand & Marketing Controller at Graham & Brown, says: “Launching our Spring/Summer Solstice Collection is a special moment for us, and we’re proud to bring this collection to life. Its fresh designs and colourways sit beautifully within our wider range, and we’re delighted to introduce six new paint shades that complete the story. Each colour has been perfectly partnered with our wallpapers, murals and soft furnishings, and we cannot wait to see how our community brings them together in their own homes.”

Available to shop online and in Graham & Brown showrooms (King’s Road, London and Knutsford), the Solstice Collection is only further indication that this iconic era is taking charge of our home design.

The Solstice Collection draws from the brand’s traditional Georgian and Victorian style. However, it merges this with its 20th Century roots to create something that is elegant yet unrestricted. The motifs are what bring these periods together. Mushrooms and botanical plants capture the curiosity of the Victorian and the sanctuary of the bohemian.

You can expect wallpapers, soft furnishings, made-to-measure murals and complementary paint colours. Paint shades include Petrol, Mist, Forest, Willow, Whispering Rose and Crème Brûlée. These are shades of natural landscapes. Several designs, Reverie, Edo, and Willow Path Stripe, will be available as soft furnishings, namely Roman blinds and roller blinds.

“We’ve enjoyed exploring and drawing inspiration from different eras in history, combining heritage influences with a boho-inspired palette,” Paula Taylor, Stylist at Graham & Brown, says. “Bold botanicals, bohemian motifs, and timeless design elements come together to give this collection a modern yet nostalgic feel. Flowing, richly detailed patterns such as florals and paisley, combined with vintage, handmade textures and earthy, vibrant tones, form the essence of our Solstice Collection. Perfectly partnered paints and soft furnishings complete the look, creating an eclectic, layered, and effortlessly comfortable home.”

The murals start from £48 per square meter. Consider it the perfect affordable art DIY for someone looking to finish a gallery wall. It would also work as a statement piece. For a cheeky decor piece, Whispering Grove is by far our favourite.

Fungi Folklore in Crème Brûlée would compliment any bathroom or dressing room. If you’re into the whimsical look aesthetics of mushrooms. The colours aren’t overwhelming and allow the print to speak to the space.
