La Redoute has released a new collection. ÉDITÉ comes at the end of summer, so it consists of more autumnal decor, texture-forward pieces and lots of tan leather.

What stands out is an almost monastic feel to the collection—the rugs are somewhere between Bauhaus and La Bohème. It is sure to be a favourite among plant parents and others who enjoy the earthy, natural design styles.

With their sales currently on, it seems the perfect time to nab some pieces from the new collection. Whether you’re on the hunt for items to fill a new home or just want a feature piece to jazz up a space, La Redoute are on the pulse with the trends at the moment. The ÉDITÉ collection recreates the vibes we’re after this season.

Top Picks for a Tight Budget

A black ball footed coffee table with a light brown chenille accent chair and wood and rush sideboard with brass handles on the doors. Olive green glass decor sits on the sideboard and above it on the wall is an olive green, black and cream abstract piece of art hanging.

a cream faux fur throw
Cream Marshmallow Rabbit Faux Fur Throw (£31.99)

If you wince at the idea of spending £30 on a blanket, this might be worth considering. This 130 x 170cm faux fur throw is perfect for a variety of spaces. It would serve a more functional purpose in the bedroom as a cosy throw. In the lounge, it would add texture and visual interest to the sofa which is otherwise a large blank canvas (especially if your upholstery has no patterns). It can also soften stiff sofas upon impact. Consider it your three-in-one sofa cover.

mango wood ball-footed sideboard with arched detail doors
Akron Arch Large Mango Wood Sideboard with Ball Feet (£899.99)

Did someone say dupe? This ball-footed sideboard is reminiscent of this H&M mango wood sideboard that came out earlier this year (except I like La Redoute’s interpretation more). The arched doors are a nice detail and for a fraction of the price (a whopping £500 less), they stay on the good side of BIT. It is still expensive. But both being made from mango wood not only makes the La Redoute product a better option in this comparison, but also better than cheaper offerings on the market made of cheaper materials (e.g. MDF).

brass hammered side table pair
Bhind Antique Hammered Metal Drum Side Table Pair (£159.99)

The interior design scene is (understandably) suffering a brass bias. This pair of hammered brass side tables is a great investment if you’re trying not to swallow up space with a traditional centred coffee table. It’s also not too expensive or overhaul if you’re wanting to trial brass in your home but don’t want to redo all hardware. I’d also add natural textures and some plants for a biophillic design.
