Ruggable has launched a new collection in collaboration with American fabric house Scalamandré. The nine-piece collection considers the modern home merging Ruggable’s functionality with references to Scalamandré’s vast archive.
“This collection brings together nine thoughtfully curated designs, ranging from iconic zebra motifs to rich, earthy palettes,” Lorraine Lang, Executive Vice President of Design at Scalamandré says.
Following the mass merging of fashion and interiors and “lived-in” aesthetics, this collaboration is a fine example of family-friendly intergenerational style. The collection is now available online in the UK.
About The Collection

The collection combines Ruggable’s washable technology and Scalamandré’s bold patterns, such as the iconic Zebra print that defines the brand. Inspired by the iconic 1945 hand-drawn motif created for New York’s Gino’s of Capri, this bold design is available in blue, green, and red colours.
“Created to live beautifully across the home,” Lorraine Lang says of the designs, “the assortment can enliven a family living room or capture a sense of joy in a child’s bedroom or playroom. With a balance of vibrant color, softer neutrals, and bold pattern, the collection reflects both versatility and timeless design.”
Other notable designs in the collection include Panthera Tan & Rust, a leopard print rug, available in blue and green, and Cheetah Sand, a golden tan cheetah print rug that’s also available in Olive Green.
Maria O’Brien, Vice President of Design at Ruggable says: “One of our guiding principals at Ruggable is creating beautiful designs that enhance your home and are easy to live with. Life can be chaotic (in the best ways), and your home should still feel like a sanctuary. For parents, especially, we wanted these rugs to prove that your child’s joy and your own design vision can absolutely coexist. With our Tufted All-in-One construction, these iconic patterns finally meet the practicality families need: washable, durable, and comfortable underfoot, without compromising style.”
Available in 13 sizes, prices for the collection’s pieces start from £119.
Top Pick For A Tight Budget

The best pick from the collection for us has to be the Tigre gold rug. The 75 x 215 cm runner rug is £189 and would be a wonderful addition to any chic London flat. It would also do well in a rented or new-build kitchen. For those looking to add visual interest to a builder-grade space, just think tiger.
